INTISARI

Penggunaan agregat kasar Palu di Kalimantan Timur khususnya di Samarinda sudah sering terlambat penerimaannya oleh karena itu peneliti menggati agregat kasar dengan mengunakan material yang berasal dari Desa Lebak Cilong, Kecamatan Muara wis Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara Kalimantan Timur , kemudian penggantian sebagian semen menggunakan abu sekam padi karena material tersebut sering dianggap limbah dari penggilingan padi. Sekam padi di Indonesia yang dihasilkan selama ini melimpah, sayangnya material tersebut umumnya hanya digunakan untuk bahan bakar pembakaran batu bata merah.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan komposisi campuran beton acuan dengan kuat tekan  fc’ 30 MPa menggunakan agregat kasar Palu, agregat halus Palu, dan semen sebagai bahan pengikat, membandingkan kuat tekan beton menggunakan agregat kasar  Palu dan agregat kasar Lebak Cilong pada komposisi yang sama, jika kuat tekan agregat kasar Lebak Cilong tidak tercapai maka merubah komposisi agregat kasar Lebak Cilong hingga mendapatkan kuat tekan  mencapai fc’ ≥ 30 MPa, menambahkan abu sekam padi pada campuran beton untuk mengetahui persentase optimal abu sekam padi sebagai pengganti sebagian semen terhadap kuat tekan beton.penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Bahan Jurusan Teknik Sipil dengan bahan agregat kasar Palu, agregat kasar Lebak Cilong dan Abu Sekam Padi dengan pengujian sesuai Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI).

Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa beton dengan komposisi agregat kasar Palu mendapatkan kuat tekan fc’ 47,16 MPa, penggantian agregat kasar Palu dengan agregat kasar Lebak Cilong tidak dapat menghasilkan mutu beton fc’ 30 MPa namun dengan mengganti komposisi pada agregat kasar Lebak Cilong dapat mencapai mutu beton fc’ 30,35 MPa, penambahan abu sekam padi 5% - 25% tidak dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan beton, kuat tekan beton tertinggi terjadi pada persentase abu sekam 5% dan hanya mendapatkan kuat tekan fc’ 28,66 MPa sedangkan beton normal tanpa abu sekam padi kuat tekan yang diperoleh fc’ 30,35 MPa.

ABSTRACT

The use of coarse aggregate Palu in East Kalimantan , especially in Samarinda has often late acceptance therefore researchers menggati coarse aggregate by using material from the village of Lebak Cilong , Muara wis Kutai regency in East Kalimantan , and replacement Part of cement using rice husk ash as material the often considered waste from rice mills . Rice husk in Indonesia produced during this abundant , unfortunately, the material is generally only used for fuel burning red bricks which are then discarded in vain.

This study aims is to determine the composition of the concrete mix reference compressive strength fc '30 MPa using coarse aggregate Palu, fine aggregate Palu, and cement as a binder, to compare the strength of concrete using coarse aggregate Palu and coarse aggregate Lebak Cilong the same composition, if compressive strength of coarse aggregate Lebak Cilong not reached then change the composition of coarse aggregate Lebak Cilong to get compressive strength reached fc '≥ 30 MPa, add the rice husk ash in the concrete mix to determine the optimal percentage of rice husk ash as a partial replacement of compressive strength of cement .  This research is done in the Department of Civil Engineering materials Laboratory with coarse granular aggregate Palu, coarse aggregate Lebak Cilong and Rice Husk with the test according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).

The test results showed that the composition of coarse aggregate concrete with compressive strength fc Palu get fc’ 47.16 MPa, the replacement of coarse aggregate coarse aggregate Palu Lebak Cilong can not produce the quality of concrete fc' 30 MPa but by changing the composition of the coarse aggregate Lebak Cilong can achieve quality concrete fc '30.35 MPa, the addition of rice husk ash 5% - 25% can not improve the strength of concrete, the concrete compressive strength is highest in the percentage of rice husk ash 5% and only get a compressive strength fc' 28.66 MPa whereas normal concrete without rice husk ash obtained compressive strength fc '30.35 MPa.
