Pekerjaan pembangunan turap merupakan salah satu kegiatan untuk menangani kelongsoran yang terjadi pada ruas Jl. KH. Mas Mansyur Loa Bakung Samarinda.Tipe longsoran yang terjadi yaitu translasi dan rotasi karena dipengaruhi oleh medan jalan yang  sedikit menanjak dan berada di pinggiran Sungai Mahakam. Longsoran tersebut mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan badan jalankarenagerusan air di bawahnyadan beban lalu lintas yang melebihi kelas jalan. Sheet pile yang digunakan yaitu sheet pile baja dengan metode turap berjangkar ujung bebas, dimana kondisi tanah yang bekerja menggunakan teori Rankine. Dari hasil pengujian  sondir dan boring diketahui kedalaman tanah keras 11 m dan jenis tanahnya yaitu tanah kohesif (lempung). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh panjang turap 8 m dengan penanamanjangkar diambil 1 m di bawah permukaan tanah. Jangkar yang digunakan jangkar baja (tie rod) Ø1,15” dengan tiang pancang baja diameter 35,56 cm dipasang tiap jarak 1,6 m. Untuk dimensi gording H-Beam 200.200.8.12 mm dan stabilitas lereng menggunakan program XSTABLE (metode Bishop) diperoleh angka aman 1,536. Biaya yang diperlukan sebesar Rp. 4.292.224.000(berdasarkan harga tahun 2014).

The sheet pile construction is one of the activities to handle the landslide that occurred in the segment of JL. KH. Mas Mansyur, Loa Bakung, Samarinda. The type of landslide that occurred are Translation and Rotation type because it was influenced by the slightly uphill road terrain and located on the outskirts of theMahakam River. The landslide causing collapse of the decline of the road because water scouring underneath and traffic loads that exceed the road. The used sheet pile are steel pile with the free end anchored sheet pile method, which is soil condition are worked using Rankine theory. Based on the result of Sondir test and Soil Penetration Test (SPT), the depth of hard soil is 11 m and the type is cohesive soil (clay). From the calculation results of the sheet pile, 8 meters in length are obtained with planting the anchor taken 1 meter below the ground level. The type of the used anchor are steel anchor(tie rod) Ø1,15 with a steel pile 35.56 cmin diameter that installed in every 1,6 m distance. For the dimension of H-Beam 200.200.8.12 and the stability of a slope using XSTABLE program (Bishop method) obtained 1,536 as its safety factor. Cost required Rp. 4.292224 billion (Based on 2014 prices).
