INTISARI
Jaringan jalan merupakan salah satu fasilitas penunjang bagi perkembangan suatu perkotaan. Permasalahan yang ada di Kota Samarinda terkait dengan jaringan jalan khususnya jaringan jalan sekunder yaitu apakah jaringan dan fungsi jalan sekunder yang ditetapkan pada Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW)
Kota Samarinda Tahun 2014-2034 masih sesuai dengan fungsi perkotaan Samarinda saat ini dan apakah sudah sesuai dengan peraturan tentang jalan (UU No.38 Tahun 2004, PP No.34 Tahun 2006 dan Permen PU No.03/PRT/M/2012). Oleh karena itu penetapan jaringan dan fungsi jalan sekunder yang terdapat pada RTRW
Kota Samarinda Tahun 2014-2034 perlu dilakukan tinjauan ulang. Metode yang digunakan dalam tinjauan adalah Pedoman (Pd T-18-2004-B) tentang penentuan klasifikasi fungsi jalan di perkotaan. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa ruas jalan sebagai jaringan dan fungsi jalan sekunder yang sudah tidak sesuai dengan fungsi perkotaan Samarinda saat ini dan tidak sesuai dengan peraturan tentang jalan.

The road network is one of the facilities for the development of an urban area. The problems that exist in the city of Samarinda about the road network, especially the secondary road network, the problem is whether the secondary road network and the functions specified in the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) Samarinda Year 2014-2034 is still in accordance with the current Samarinda urban functions and whether it is appropriate to regulations on road (Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 38 Year 2004 and Government Regulation Republic of Indonesia Number 34 Year 2006 and Minister Regulation Public Works Number 03/PRT/M/2012). Therefore, the determination of the secondary road network and the functions contained in RTRW Samarinda Year 2014-2034 need to do reviews. The method used in the review is Guidance (PdT-18-2004-B) on the determination of the classification of roads function in urban area. Results of the review indicate that there are several roads as a secondary road networks and functions that are not in accordance with the Samarinda's functions today and not in accordance with the rules of the road.
