Abstract

Decision Support Systems or DSS is a form of management information system that is specifically designed to support planners and stakeholders in decision making. DSS can reflect various concepts of decision-making from different conditions, and will be very useful for semi-structured or unstructured problems where the decision-making process enhanced by an interactive dialogue between the DSS with the user. The main advantages of DSS is its ability to utilize computer systems to assist decision makers in studying the problem and took measures, and improve understanding of the environmental conditions in which the policy will be applied to access the data and models that are useful for decision-making. DSS is used to develop and evaluate a variety of alternative solutions to gain an understanding of the issues.

The results of this research is an interactive application that can be used by users to assist in the selection of motorcycles. the application of this research was built using Visual Basic and Ms.Access. based of trial is known that this application is able to provide an alternative sequence of motorcycles, which can help decision makers to buy a motorcycle.

ABSTRACT

Production planning must be made carefully by taking into account various aspects including the inventory on hand. It also can not be ignored by the company as a manufacturer of Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). Forecasts for the histroy of data production is very helpful in preparing for production planning by taking into account the level of measurement error caused in calculating the value of production of forecasting. In addition, dynamic Programa can be applied in solving the problem of aggregate production planning with certain limitations. For aggregate production planning using dynamic programming without backorder is often called the Wagner Whitin algorithm by following the assumption of production costs in the period-t in July 2012 to December 2012, so total cost required to produce during the planning period Rp. 66.24 billion, -.

ABSTRACT

Flooding is one of the unsolved problems, especially in Samarinda. Mapping the location points of potential flooding becomes very important especially in the context of the follow anticipation. Renewable energy, particularly Mycro Hydro Power, Solar Energy Power, and Wind Energy Power are the energy alternative called the green energy. Samarinda has geographical conditions of considerable potential for the development of alternative energy in question.

To perform a mapping of potential flooding and the potential for renewable energy can be done through the development of Remote Sensing System which combines Weather Data Acquisition Systems and Geospatial Data Processing System. In this study, a study of the Planning System Remote Sensing for mapping the potential for flooding and the potential for renewable energy is done as a starting material for the development of a system intended.

ABSTRACT

One way of flow  energy utilization of water is run-of-river system (river water flow system), known as the MHP (Micro Hydro Power Plant). Conditions of East Kalimantan province rich with rivers branching the have potential for the construction of MHP. Determining the Intake location for the Powerhouse is one of the critical factors as they relate directly to estimate the potential power awakened.

The proposed solution is to use a geographical map approach in which digital data is processed satellite imagery so as to obtain the optimum intake location. In this study, the map of DEM (Digital Evelation Model) East Kalimantan in 1018'07 '' N, 114020'46 '' E-clip in the 0.0010 - 10S, 1160 - 116.9990E as PFI (Potential Feature Image). Of PFI, chosen Catchment Area at 0.3850 - 0.4150S, 116 220 - 116.250E as ROI (Region Of Interest). Each color represents a certain quantity (slope, elevation, gradient). Coding in a particular way on River & Terrain Layer obtained from the ROI will produce representations Flow Direction.

By apply multiplication techniques at each layer of cells that have been encoded going to produce some choice of cells with a specific value in the region of the river flowed. The highest value chosen as the point of optimum intake location.
